New Saint Seiya Episode.G Manga Series Slated For April 5

The 42nd issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED Ichigo magazine announced on Wednesday that Megumu Okada and Masami Kurumada's new Saint Seiya Episode.G manga will launch in the 43rd issue on April 5. The new manga will be titled Saint Seiya Episode.G. ~Assassin~ and will feature a 54-page first chapter with a color opening page.
Okada (Shadow Skill) launched the prequel of Kurumada's original mythological fantasy manga in Champion RED in 2003. The story followed Aiolia and the other Gold Saints as they battle the Titans. The manga had been on hiatus since 2011 but just returned in March last year. A total of 20 compiled volumes were released.
The current "season" of Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya: Next Dimension - The Myth of Hades manga ended in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine last month. The Saint Seiya: Legend of Sanctuary CG film will open in Japan on June 21.
