A few days ago we reported the confirmation of the Second Season of Saint Seiya The Lost Canvas for February 2011 in Japan, and come to light directly on DVD and Blu-Ray, at two chapters each month.
The same source who gave us this information confirms that this second season will not include new songs, ie the OP and ED for chapters 14 to 26 are the same as those of the First Season (The Realm of Athena and Hana no Kusari). Bad news for fans who expect new songs and, of course, their respective versions in Castilian.
We have been in contact with Joaquín Paz to ask their views on this story and, while regretting (as all) the inclusion of new topics for the Second Season of Lost Canvas, just expressing words of gratitude to what has been achieved with the First. Also tells us that there are good prospects that may include new bonus features never seen before in the edition Selecta Vision has scheduled this season for Spain.
On the other hand, is optimistic on the negotiations being carried out by Selecta Vision with Toei Animation, which is still likely to get the approval of the adjustments to the Castilian of the classic themes of Saint Seiya.
